But Scott Abel is making sure he won\u2019t look back on Father Time with any regrets when it comes to his working career. After spending two decades as an investment consultant, the Marshall Township resident decided it was a good time to change course and on Nov. 13 he will become a newly minted franchise owner with CertaPro Painters, America\u2019s largest and most-referred painting company.<\/p>\n
Abel\u2019s territory will encompass Pittsburgh North. Prior to entering the corporate world, Abel spent seven years as a Naval officer and he is looking forward to writing the next chapter of his working career. \u201cI decided after 20 years of working for a corporation that I would really like to try my hand at building my own business,\u201d Abel said. Franchising has proven to be an especially attractive career choice for veterans.
