While the house had a lovely architecture, she called the blue gray color &#8220;horrid&#8221;. Because it didn&#8217;t compliment the house or natural surrounding areas, a new palette was in order. Previous painting was done with low quality paint and questionable techniques resulting in patchy areas and irregular surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the main substrate, the siding was not painted and looked neglected. Bad caulking around the window frames allowed drafts and pests to get in.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10941 alignleft hidden-xs\" src=\"https:\/\/indianapolis.certapro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1280\/2019\/06\/img-treatment.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"577\" \/>CHALLENGES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The last time the exterior was painted, there was little attention to detail. The color was not pleasing to the homeowner so a color palette change was necessary.
