Silicon Valley Business Owners Recognized as Finalist for CertaPro Painters® Top Award

Silicon Valley, CA- Feb. 7, 2022 – Steve and Norie Bonbright, owners of CertaPro Painters® of the Peninsula & Silicon Valley, were one of the top five finalists, out of nearly 400 CertaPro Painters® businesses across North America, for the system’s most prestigious award, the CertaCup. To be considered for this top honor, the franchisees and their team must practice the company’s values, consistently deliver extraordinary customer service, and demonstrate growth in their residential and commercial painting business.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, Steve and Norie Bonbright were one of the first franchise owners to talk about the impact it would have on the business and helped instill confidence in other franchise owners that they could make it through. Along with their tenacity, they focus on innovation, constantly creating new and more efficient ways to operate their business. In 2021, their residential business grew by 48% and their commercial business by 15%.

The CertaPro Painters® of the Peninsula & Silicon Valley team was recognized for its accomplishments during CertaPro’s annual conference on Jan. 21 in Orlando. In addition to the CertaCup nomination, the business received a Gold award for its outstanding residential team. Residential Sales Associates Jose Madrigal and John Galang received Gold and Silver awards, respectively.
The conference activities included networking sessions, keynote speakers, educational breakouts, and award events. Attendees were able to gain additional skills and knowledge as well as gain updates on how the brand will continue to expand its commercial and residential painting in an estimated $56 billion industry in the U.S. and Canada.
