CertaPro Painters® of North York, ON restored an interior room that was heavily affected by moisture damage and failing plaster. The space showed extensive surface deterioration, including peeling paint, cracked and delaminating plaster, visible moisture staining, and localized mold-like discoloration along lower wall sections and corners. Portions of the ceiling were also compromised, requiring removal to expose underlying structural elements.
The project involved removing all loose and failing material, addressing damaged plaster areas, and rebuilding the wall surfaces to a stable condition. Repairs included patching, leveling, and smoothing to restore a uniform substrate. Once properly prepared, the surfaces were primed and finished with two coats of interior paint to ensure a clean, consistent, and durable finish.
The result was a fully restored and refreshed space, transforming a previously uninhabitable room into a clean, functional, and visually improved area.
