This exterior residential project involved the preparation and repainting of all wood window frames, trim, exterior doors, and the double garage door of a two-storey brick home in North York. The primary objective was to restore and refresh the home’s exterior wood surfaces while addressing visible weathering, peeling paint, and localized wood deterioration caused by long-term exposure to the elements.
The project included detailed surface preparation consisting of sanding, scraping loose and failing coatings, spot priming exposed substrates, caulking minor gaps, and completing localized repairs at deteriorated sections of the front bay window and lower trim areas. Particular attention was given to preserving the architectural appearance of the existing windows and maintaining clean, sharp finish lines throughout the property.
Premium Sherwin-Williams exterior coatings were used to provide long-lasting durability, weather resistance, and a uniform satin finish across all painted surfaces. Protection of surrounding brick, landscaping, decking, and adjacent finishes was maintained throughout the project to ensure a clean and professional result.
