Causes of plaster damage & repair<\/h2>\n

Plaster damage is common caused by either water, weather, or impact. Below are some examples of the types of damage we regularly see in our service area<\/p>\n

Water damage is usually noticeable by discoloration due to prolonged exposure to water. In cases where this happens we remove all of the damaged plaster and apply a new coat over the area. After setting its common to paint the surface.<\/p>\n

Cracks and fractures from impact\"\"<\/h3>\n

This type of damage is often caused by a person or object falling into the wall. It also happens fairly regularly when moving large furnature around a house and through tight passages. This picture was is on a ceiling where force from the floor above caused the seam to open resulting in a large crack down the center of the ceiling.<\/p>\n
