Materials for Metal Roof Painting Projects<\/h2>\n

When painting metal, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and rust spots should be removed. Old paint can be scraped away and rust may need some treatment with vinegar or rust remover. Typically sanding and or grinding to remove surface rust are necessary. Sometimes sandblasting is also recommended depending on the conditions of the roof at the start of the project.
