Always create a backup plan for inclement weather or other potential issues that could delay the work. Humidity, cold weather and rain can impact painting, not just outside, but inside too.<\/p>\n
For the materials you\u2019re working with, it\u2019s usually best to have your contractor take the lead. That doesn\u2019t mean you have no say, but work together to find particular brands that the contractor is comfortable with and offer the finishes and colors you\u2019re looking for. There should be a budget for materials and a discussion of options that you are both involved in.
