Boys & Girls Teen Center

Project: This boys and girls teen center was functional but in need of an update. The property recently had some water damage, was experiencing normal wear and tear, had a variety of colors going on, and had old brick and laminate walls.

Process: The professionals at CertaPro Painters of Nashua, NH started by removing the brick walls and old wood paneling. Once everything was removed and cleaned our team replaced those with vertical shiplap boards and installed new drywall where there was once water damage.

After the new walls were installed we met with the Teen Center Director to choose a color palette that would simplify the look while also creating an area of color impact where needed.

Challenges: This job had areas over 35 feet high that required scaffolding to be used. It is important to remember that when you work with scaffolding all team members need to be diligent identifying existing and predictable hazards to ensure the safety of bystanders as well as the team.

In addition, our team had to work off hours and during weekends for carpentry and demo to ensure the safety of the kids as well as staff.

Result: Overall this project took 3 weeks to complete, and everyone is enjoying the center’s brand new look!
