Primers were developed as a complement to normal paint, as they ensure bonding and have stronger adhesive capabilities. We use primers to seal surfaces and substrates before the final coat of paint is applied. All painting projects are different for various reasons, whether it’s the quality of the previous application, humidity, surface, etc., so it is crucial that\u00a0 you choose the appropriate finish coat and primer. Trust us, we’ve seen it all.<\/p>\n

What’s the deal all in one paint and primers? Well, to be honest, it’s more of a marketing idea that gets utilized by the big box DIY stores (Lowes, HomeDepot, etc.). All in one paint and primers<\/a> typically consist of a thicker paint that gives you a sturdier finish, which is essentially what you would get if you were to mix paint and primer together on your own. But just remember, a thicker paint is not always a better paint. It’s almost always best to have a well-thought-out strategy when painting your home or business, utilizing each component’s strengths.<\/p>\n
