It\u2019s springtime and with spring comes spring cleaning.\u00a0 I never know where to start cleaning.\u00a0\u00a0 Everything needs to be spick and span after a year of \u2018sweeping it under the rug\u2019 and simply wiping everything down with a Clorox wipe.<\/p>\n

Windows<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start with the outside of your home; Windex the windows inside and out.\u00a0 While you\u2019re at it, wipe down any blinds and wash all your curtains.<\/p>\n

Floors<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deep cleaning floors is essential. We drag in all sorts of dirt and grim when we walk around the house, especially if we have our shoes on.<\/p>\n

Kitchen<\/strong><\/p>\n

The kitchen can be the most overwhelming.\u00a0 I always start with the fridge; weed through all the food and toss whatever smells funky or has been there since the dinosaurs walked the Earth.<\/p>\n

Bathrooms<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would like to think that you clean your bathroom more than once a year\u2026.if not then reevaluate your life and start scrubbing every surface in your bathroom.<\/p>\n

Living Rooms<\/strong><\/p>\n

Take the time to move your furniture around and pick up anything that might have disappeared under the couch.\u00a0 While you\u2019re at it, rearrange your furniture for a fresh, new look.<\/p>\n

Closets<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget the closets.\u00a0 Remember the rule of thumb is if you haven\u2019t worn it in a year you should donate or consign.\u00a0 Another tip to keep yourself organized is if you buy a new article of clothing or pair of shoes you should get rid of one from your closet. LET IT GO!<\/p>\n

Light Fixtures<\/strong><\/p>\n

Light fixtures and fans collect an enormous amount of dust over the span of a year.\u00a0 Take a walk around the house and dust off all the fixtures and light bulbs.<\/p>\n

And when you are done you\u2019ll be able to sit back and enjoy the roses\u2026.errr I mean the TULIPS!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
