What type of paint do you use?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Most often I use Sherwin Williams as I have found that the quality and performance is excellent. However, if a client wants to use Benjamin Moore or PPG paints I will. I suggest using the premium product of each manufacturer. Paints are a small part of a painting project. A higher quality paint will look better for longer and will protect longer than your budget paints.<\/p>\n

How often should people paint their homes?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To maintain your home\u2019s beauty and protection you should plan on painting the exterior of your home every six to eight years. On the interior there is no time guideline. Paint the inside of your home when you start noticing blemishes on your walls or trim or you want to change colors.<\/p>\n

How will my project be managed?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Each project has a job site supervisor. I start each job to make sure that everything that has been agreed to will get done professionally. The job site supervisor has the responsibility to manage the team and communicates with the homeowner. We believe that communication is the key to a job that gets done timely, professionally and with as little stress as possible.<\/p>\n

Is there anything the homeowner should do to prep for your crew to arrive?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We ask our clients to take personal items off furniture and floors as the minimum. There are other things that homeowners can do and I typically discuss that with them during my estimate and put it in my proposal.<\/p>\n

What is your clean up process?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Interior.<\/strong> We pick up and clean up daily to let you live in your home without being too inconvenienced. Once the job is completed, we take all the plastic and tarps that we have used to cover and protect your furniture and floors. We then move your furniture back where it was when we started the project. We dust in the areas that we have been working and vacuum the area.<\/p>\n

Exterior.<\/strong> We pick up daily putting all our equipment and ladders in a safe location. Once the project is complete, we remove all ladders and equipment, all tarps and plastic we used for protection and we pick up debris such as paint chips and fluff up mulch.
