This deck in Little Arkansas had to be stripped and preserved. The original painters on the job used a solid color stain and it was very dark, the customers were not satisfied. Our team completely removed all of the stain in order to start back with a semi transparent. We used a Benjamin Moore product to remove the stain and sealer it is called “Remove”. We worked in sections applying the stain and sealer remover and had to let it sit 20 minutes, then scrubbed it with a brush and then rinsed it off to neutralize the wood with a product called “Brighton” also Benjamin Moore. Using these two products we were able to remove all the stain from the deck by hand.
