Many of our local theater groups have been out of work since the start of COVID-19. That\u2019s why Matthew Cravey started \u201cBattle of the Community Theatre Stars\u201d\u2014a regional online theater trivia game show featuring contestants from local theater groups.<\/p>\n
Our team at CertaPro Painters\u00ae of Greensboro, NC, partnered with another local CertaPro franchise, CertaPro Painters\u00ae of Winston-Salem, to sponsor the semifinal and championship rounds of the contest. Sarah Jenkins of Spirit Gum Theatre Company took home the grand prize, which included $300 thanks to our sponsorship.<\/p>\n
\u201cBattle of the Community Theatre Stars\u201d took place on Facebook Live and was a way for the theater groups and their patrons to stay connected and have fun while in quarantine.<\/p>\n
