Stucco Repair Case Study: Historic Apartment Building

CHALLENGES:
This building was constructed in the 1930s. There was a lot of damage to the stucco, doors, and windows. After we removed some of the stucco, we soon realized the building material was adobe mud. Yes, the kind they mixed with hay way back when!

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Our project began with scraping off all the loose stucco. The adobe mud underneath was extremely dilapidated. As a result, we had to extract the adobe and apply a special stucco mix, and used diamond plates to hold the stucco in place. The windows and wood doors and door jambs were repaired, primed, and painted.

THE FINAL RESULTS
The results were amazing, and we are very proud of our team who developed and executed an effective, efficient, and flawless plan!
