We recently had the opportunity to give some of our team members additional EIFS training. Exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS) are a class of non load bearing building systems used often on exterior walls. It use is growing in popularity in both commercial and residential applications. We wanted to make sure we were properly training on repair and painting of this type of surface, so we set up some training sessions for our team.<\/p>\n

The training included a product overview from Parex, and how to patch damaged areas and holes.\u00a0 We learned the proper products and how to skim coat the area and also how to top coat with a matching texture.\u00a0 The local Knoxville vendor and building supplier was also present for any questions or possible support they could provide.<\/p>\n
