Questions About the Process and Our People
I’ve met with the estimator, reviewed the proposal, and would like to proceed. What do I do next?
We highly recommend getting in touch with your project estimator either by phone or email to communicate your decision to move forward with the project. The moment your decision reaches the estimator, it’s communicated to our operations team. Then, a member of this team will reach out to you to arrange the scheduling of your project. A Next Step Letter, filled with pertinent details and preparatory guidelines for your project’s commencement, will also be sent your way.
What experience and background do the foremen and painters have?
You should be aware that our painting staff comprises long-term professional painters. We emphasize the importance of hiring, developing, appreciating, and maintaining top-notch painting professionals. Many have remained loyal to us for numerous cycles. This commitment to nurturing and expansion has enabled us to maintain a remarkably stable workforce in an industry infamous for its shifting labor force.
How do I address any concerns I may have throughout the project?
It is important to discuss with your estimator any specific concerns you have before your project starts.
If you have a question during your project, each crew has a dedicated Job Site Supervisor to help guide you through the process. Additionally, each project has an assigned project manager to ensure your project goes according to plan.

How do I address any concerns I may have throughout the project?
Engaging with your estimator regarding any particular apprehensions you might have prior to the commencement of your project is crucial.
Should you encounter any queries while your project is underway, rest assured, you’ll have access to a devoted Job Site Supervisor from each team to assist you in understanding the procedure. Moreover, there will be a designated project manager for every project with the purpose of guaranteeing smooth progress as per your plan.
How long will my project take?
At the outset of any assignment, our commitment is unwavering until completion, so as to cause the least possible interference to your daily life. Nevertheless, climatic conditions can influence the commencement and, in the case of outdoor tasks, the duration of your project. Your associated evaluator will provide an accurate estimation of the timeline for your specific task.
I plan on being out of town during part or all the project. Is this okay?
Our team is committed to adapting to your timetable as effectively as possible. Some of our clients prefer that we proceed with the project while they’re not home, while others don’t. We can adjust to any circumstance, but we kindly ask you to inform us in advance if you anticipate being unavailable when the work is in progress.
Additionally, in case we’re asked to completely withdraw from the project (which means removing all equipment, paint, resources, tools, drop sheets, masks, etc.) and then reschedule to complete it at a future date, a minor fee is imposed to account for the extra disassembly and reassembly costs.
What about inclement weather?
When it comes to outdoor tasks, a variety of activities can be carried out under light drizzle or haze, including power washing and scraping. However, the application of sealants, primer, or paint cannot be carried out in damp conditions. Under such circumstances, we need to allow the house to adequately dry.
We promise to adhere to necessary waiting times to guarantee that the protective coverings we use result in a reliable, top-quality finish on your home.

How is payment handled?
We do not require any payment until the project is completed on most residential projects. Once completed, the balance is due in full.
We prefer payment by cash or check. However, we accept major credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, Discover) with a 3% service fee.
Does the crew expect a tip at the end of the job?
Our team comprises seasoned painting professionals who are paid proportionately for their expertise. They won’t ask for additional gratuity nor do they anticipate it. Sometimes, our clients wish to express gratitude to the Project Manager or the whole team for their exceptional performance. If the work quality and customer service have left you incredibly pleased, you are welcome to tip. However, you need not feel any compulsion or presumption to do so.
Will my windows be clean when the house is pressure washed?
Please note that we refrain from using pressure washing methods on windows and doors, opting instead for meticulous hand cleaning to prevent potential water damage to painted surfaces. We advise arranging a professional window cleaning service after the completion of the house painting project, as pressure washing your property may leave unwanted water marks on your windows.
Why did my gutters not come clean?
The finish of your guttering system can be tarnished by dirt and mildew, especially as it ages. However, even older gutters can be refurbished through mildew treatment and a fresh coat of paint.
Why do I still see cob webs if my house has been pressure washed?
Though water pressure isn’t typically used for web removal, we’ll certainly ensure they’re gone with the use of a dusting brush prior to the painting process.

Should I choose to have 2 coats of paint?
A second layer of paint becomes essential when you’re transitioning to a new shade, adjusting the finish, dealing with unprocessed or new timber, or your current paint layer is significantly weathered.
Is it too cold to paint?
The paint we utilize is engineered for low temperature application and is effective in conditions as cool as 38 degrees.
What is sheen?
The intensity of the paint’s “glow” once it dries is what you can anticipate. A higher degree of sheen signifies a more easily cleanable paint. Frequently, our clients opt for the Eggshell and Satin sheens.
What is the difference between white caulk and silicone?
White sealant is meant for areas that have been previously sealed and painted. On the other hand, silicone should be employed when sealing surfaces that can’t be painted over.
