Debbie Chapman, the owner of CertaPro Painters\u00ae of Central Washington, will be repalling herself from the top of the Liberty Building to support cancer patients.<\/p>\n
Over the Edge is a fundraising event that is supporting the Wellness House, which is an organization that provides resources, information, and other means of support to people suffering with cancer.<\/p>\n
Wellness\u00a0House\u00a0was founded in 1988 as a FREE resource to help cancer patients find support, help and resources when faced with this devastating diagnosis.\u00a0 Over the years, the programs have expanded to include a\u00a0broad\u00a0spectrum\u00a0of\u00a0non-medical\u00a0treatment\u00a0programs\u00a0and\u00a0services for cancer patients, including counseling, the Wig & Hat Boutique, support for the patients and their families and access to post-surgical supplies.<\/p>\n
As the needs of this community have changed, Wellness House has responded by developing services for community members and their families facing\u00a0additional life\u00a0altering\u00a0challenges, such as chronic illness,\u00a0depression\u00a0and\u00a0grief.\u00a0 If Wellness House cannot provide direct support, our Client Navigator and Client Advocate connect the patient to our many resources throughout the community.<\/p>\n
In\u00a0keeping\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0wishes\u00a0of\u00a0our founder,\u00a0Mazie\u00a0Meade,\u00a0services\u00a0for all clients are\u00a0provided\u00a0at NO CHARGE to\u00a0ensure\u00a0that\u00a0all\u00a0of\u00a0those\u00a0in\u00a0need\u00a0of\u00a0Wellness\u00a0House\u00a0have access, especially those who are already facing a financial burden from their medical care.<\/p>\n
