It\u2019s not every day that you get to brush shoulders with a local legend, but for the team at CertaPro Painters, we were honored to paint for a local legend, Harvey Holiday, before his retirement in late 2018.<\/p>\n
Harvey Holiday<\/a> has been more than just a voice on the radio; he\u2019s been a part of Philadelphia’s heartbeat, providing the soundtrack for countless lives with the greatest hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Since first joining WOGL in 1989, Harvey has become synonymous with the classic hits that define a generation.<\/p>\n In a fitting tribute to a man who spent his career steeped in the hues of nostalgia, CertaPro Painters\u00ae was tasked with a project that was as much about painting walls as it was about painting memories. The team approached the project with a sense of great responsibility, as we do for all homes we paint.<\/p>\n Here at CertaPro Painters, our drivers are often out on the roads of Bucks County, listening to the tunes and radio musings of many entertainers, including Mr. Holiday<\/a>. After he’s served us for so long, it was truly an honor to pay him back with quality painting. He’s been blessing us with great music from 1989 to 2018, nearly three decades! So even though this project was rather simple, it meant a lot for us to receive the call.<\/p>\n In early 2022, WOGL rebranded itself as “Big 98.1. The station readjusted their classic hits format to focus primarily on songs from the 1970s to the 1990s. As the years go by, some people may forget the old WOGL, but we never will.
