2020 Wallpaper Trends

For awhile wallpaper was something we had only seen at our grandparent’s house. People shied away from it because it has been seen as outdated. As modernity and simplicity have become increasingly more popular, the want for patterns and prints has been on the decline. However, we just entered a new decade and that means new trends in home design. If you are a fan of the wallpaper look, lucky for you it’s back! Here are some of the 2020 wallpaper trends.
Warm Colors
When we see wallpaper being incorporated into home it will consist of warm colors such as browns, terracotta’s, warm grays, reds, corals, and rich blues and greens. As the all-white and all-gray trend starts to fade away, we will be seeing much more color and pattern being incorporated into homes.
Chintzy
The bold floral vintage look will come back into style as well. It will be more eye-catching and modern than the traditional floral wallpaper look. It adds a nice pop of color and interest to the room.
Nature
Incorporating nature into your home is important. We will be seeing tons of greenery being added into homes in the upcoming years. But that’s not the only way nature will be being incorporated. From tropical to botanical, we will be seeing nature being incorporated into the homes of many through wallpaper.
3-D
This is a daring option that will provide texture into your home. There is a wide variety of 3-D wallpaper including realistic looking brick and wood.
Gradient
This is the modern take on the wallpaper trend. It is far more minimal than the other wallpaper trends we will be seeing.
Retro
Fun inspired designs with warm color palettes will be becoming increasingly popular over the year.
