In October of 2020 we were hired by one of the largest hospitals in Colorado to help with the restoration of the helicopter landing pad commercial painting project. The pad is a large concrete circle and had faded due to years of wear and tear, it was time to update the surface. The surface had extreme peeling of substrate and was faded and dull. Sections of the paint and concrete were crumbling.<\/p>\n
To remove the old paint we had to diamond grind the substrate, sweep up the debris, and mask off the special helipad stencil. We then applied a mask around the circle of the helipad. After the project was finished, the helipad looked brand new once again. With brighter colors piolets will have an easier time spotting the helipad from the air, and the peeling surface will no longer present any possible trip hazards to hospital crew coming on and off the pad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
