Working as Strategic Account Manager – Northeast

Strategic Accounts at CertaPro Painters, Ltd. is looking for a results-driven, highly motivated Strategic Account Manager (SAM) in the Northeast Region of the United States. The SAM’s primary role is to develop and expand relationships with large, strategically important customers that own, mange, or influence commercial property portfolios across multiple markets within the United States and are corporately headquartered in your region. In this role, you will represent the CertaPro Painters® brand in the commercial painting services space at the regional and national level. The SAM’s main objective is to become a trusted advisor to your accounts so that you are developing and distributing commercial painting opportunities to the brand’s commercially qualified franchise owners within their local markets. The SAM is tasked with driving sales and revenue growth in commercial painting for the largest painting company in North America. The SAM reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts.

Performance Measures

  • Achieves assigned sales quota.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by both the Strategic Account Manager and company management.
  • Meets expectations for a balanced pipeline based on assigned vertical and regional markets.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet the company standards as measured through the Net Promotor Scoring system.
  • Models activity and behavior in line with company Standards as defined in its Standard Operating Procedures manual.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts
  • Enlists the support of Specialists in Marketing, General Managers within Operations and Development, IT, Legal, Finance, and Management, as needed, to carry out approved strategy for customer accounts.
  • Closely coordinates with Executive Leadership, Legal, and Finance on all contracts.
  • Works closely with independent franchise owners and their associates when handing off commercial opportunities, following up on jobs in progress, and at the work completed stage.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Preferable to have “network” experience either within franchising or membership groups
  • Preferable to have direct or indirect experience within commercial property management

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position requires extensive travel.
  • Must take a Caliper Profile pre-employment assessment test
  • Must pass a background check and credit check.
  • Position covers Northeastern region of the United States
  • Must live within the region.
  • Home office based
