Working as a Regional Marketing Manager

The Regional Marketing Managers at CertaPro Painters® work directly with independently owned and operated CertaPro Painters® franchises to ensure their marketing efforts are successful and impactful to their target audience.

The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the adoption of centralized marketing programs across their assigned regions/franchisees. This includes creating customized strategies for individual franchisees for use in quarterly consulting calls with franchisees, as well as managing regional advertising co-ops in conjunction with a member of our Operations team.

The Regional Marketing Manager will actively develop strong relationships with franchise owners, marketing vendors, and corporate team members. This individual must have demonstrated experience in achieving a high level of teamwork and relationship building and possess strong influence skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.

As part of a results-driven, strong-culture organization, the Regional Marketing Manager will consistently track performance of franchisee-specific marketing programs and their associated metrics and provide an individualized analysis to guide current and new franchisee strategies. Applicants must have experience in establishing and meeting independent goals, analyzing performance analytics and forming recommendations from data points. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively problem solve by seeing beyond the numbers. Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategically consult with franchisees in assigned regions on individual marketing program results, annual marketing plans, and provide data that validates recommendations.
  • Promote franchisee adoption of established marketing programs and tactics for both the Residential & Commercial painting segments.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional Vice Presidents and General Managers on our Operations team to track regional and individual franchisee performance and achieve shared regional goals.
  • Communicate and educate franchisees in marketing co-ops on best practices for regional advertising and marketing programs.

Requirements

  • Assertive leader with demonstrated success in consultative sales and influencing experienced business people.
  • Experience in presenting to groups of as large as 25-30 people.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently work remotely from home with minimal supervision.
  • Excited to travel a minimum of 8-10 times per year inside and outside region.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, comfort manipulating data and ability to see beyond the numbers.
  • Experience working in a franchise environment or in a multi-location organization is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of two-three years professional experience required.
