Working as the Production Training Specialist

The Production Training Specialist will be responsible for providing substrate specific bidding, equipment, materials, application, and project management skill transfer to the Franchise Body. This role will support the production efforts of Franchise Owners and Production Associates throughout the United States and Canada to deliver extraordinary residential and commercial brand experiences to customers, Job Site Supervisors, Painters, and Production Staff. The Production Training Specialist will report to the Production Manager.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and tactical support for the Employee Model Strategic Change Initiative.
  • Create and maintain self-guided learning for Franchise Body, in conjunction with the Production Director and Learning & Development Team.
  • Work with the Production Manager to ensure curriculum consistency.
  • Deliver Virtual and In Person training to Production Associates
  • Leverage experience to provide coaching with franchise owners and associates to increase production competence.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the online Painter ROTOR (Recruit, Orient, Train, Operate, Retain)
  • Contribute to cohesive program development and distribution with the Residential Sales Manager, Production Manager, and Commercial Operations Manager.
  • Create and Deliver Strategic Job-Site Supervisor recruiting programs to support Franchises in growing their production capabilities and improving retention of Painters and Production associates.
  • Preparation and delivery of content for Annual Conference and Training events of various stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Required:
    • 5+ years of full-time field experience applying paint in the residential and/or commercial painting industry.
    • Expertise with many substrates; bidding, equipment, materials, application, project management.
    • History of successfully developing Helpers to become Skilled Tradesman.
    • Proven track record of achieving results.
    • Is proactive and able to work independently.
    • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel out of state/overnight (approx. 30%)
  • Preferred:
    • Bi-lingual
    • CertaPro Painters® experience

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly Skilled in Residential and Commercial Painting
  • Highly technology-literate; ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
  • Intermediate skill level in computer usage in various applications (MS Office applications, Internet, and Intranet)

Salary Band: $65,000 – $85,000
