Working as a Data Governance Specialist

This position will oversee the accuracy of data throughout the organization, and will be responsible for defining, writing, and implementing policies for change management. They will process changes to our data with a wide variety of requirements. One major area of focus will be the responsibility of processing the data changes required for the sale of a franchise. This is a full time position based out of the office in the Audubon/King of Prussia PA area.

What You’ll Do

  • Work collaboratively across business teams to build sound data governance processes
  • Develop and document current processes
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for process improvement and data quality enhancement
  • Work closely with our Legal, Recruiting, and Technology teams to process changes to our franchise data infrastructure
  • Coordinate and oversee the creation and change of data for new startup and resale locations
  • Manage reports and custom data requests as needed
  • Various other tasks as needed

What You’ll Need

  • BS/BA College degree is preferable.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Very strong attention to detail required.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • You will be a self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service
  • Strong ability to plan work activities, manage competing priorities, identifying critical tasks, organize and prioritize work activities to meet deadlines and see projects through to completion.

Experience Required:

  • 2-5 years Background in Data and/or Technology
  • Experience working as a liaison between multiple teams
  • Experience working with confidential information
