I believe we earned this opportunity because we\u2019ve proven ourselves on TV before with <em data-start=\"396\" data-end=\"413\">Sell This House<\/em> and because we have elite painting teams that can work under intense pressure, meet impossible deadlines, and deliver flawless results.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"752\">Over the years, we\u2019ve painted over 100 restaurants, including many for renowned restaurateur Stephen Starr. Now, we can proudly say we\u2019ve met the high standards of both Gordon Ramsay and Stephen Starr!<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"754\" data-end=\"851\">A huge thank-you to Claiton, Miriam, and their crews for working tirelessly on these projects. \ud83d\ude4c<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"856\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"894\">The Restaurants We Transformed \ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"1059\">We had an absolute blast gathering our teams \u2014 and even our families \u2014 to watch and cheer as our work appeared on national TV. Our Gordon Ramsay projects included:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1217\">\n<li data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1105\">\n<p data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1105\">Dahlak \u2013 West Philly (Ethiopian cuisine)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1134\">\n<p data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1134\">Bruno\u2019s \u2013 Lafayette Hill<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1174\">\n<p data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1174\">Wilson\u2019s Secret Sauce \u2013 Upper Darby<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1217\">\n<p data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1217\">Pretty Girls Cook \u2013 Northern Liberties<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1222\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1224\" data-end=\"1262\">The Reality of TV Renovations \ud83c\udfac<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1462\">Behind the scenes, it\u2019s pure chaos. All the trades are in the building at once, rushing to get their work done, often literally stepping on each other\u2019s toes. There are constant last-minute changes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1464\" data-end=\"1702\">For example, at Bruno\u2019s, it was decided at the eleventh hour to paint a unique vinyl wainscoting that required a special primer. Our owner, Chris Drucquer, had to make a fast dash to the local paint store to get the right product in time.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"1707\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1742\">The Question Everyone Asks\u2026<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1744\" data-end=\"1773\">\u201cDid you meet Gordon Ramsay?\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"1971\">Well, almost. Claiton, one of our supervisors, crossed paths with him \u2014 Claiton was heading in, Gordon was heading out.
