We\u2019re excited to share that CertaPro Painters\u00ae of Blue Bell\/Phila is once again sponsoring the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust\u2019s Earth Day Trail Run\/Walk! As longtime supporters of this incredible cause, we\u2019re proud to stand behind PERT\u2019s mission to protect and preserve over 950 acres of natural land right here in our community.<\/p>\n
The 8th annual race will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 9AM, offering a beautiful day outdoors for runners, walkers, families, and nature lovers alike. Participants can choose from a 1-mile, 5K, or 10K course, all winding through scenic trails of rolling hills, grassy paths, and gravel roads.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s event also features a special \u201cTale Trail\u201d Story Stroll along the 1-mile route, presented by the Southampton Library. It\u2019s a fun, interactive way for kids (and grownups!) to enjoy the story of The Tortoise and the Hare while making their way to the finish line.<\/p>\n
Proceeds from the event directly support PERT\u2019s ongoing efforts to conserve natural habitats and safeguard the Pennypack Preserve from development. It\u2019s a meaningful way to give back while enjoying the beauty of our local landscape.<\/p>\n
