We have worked with this community since 2009 in a phased approach, painting the wood trim and synthetic stucco buildings. In 2012, we lost the project to a low-priced competitor. Below is the story from the customer’s perspective. Since regaining the contract we have completed over $140,000 work of work for Central Buckhead, including stucco repairs, carpentry repairs, and full repaints of several buildings. Access challenges included coordinating with Georgia Power to insulate an 11,000 volt power line to protect the safety of our painters working from nearby aerial platform lifts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“CertaPro finished the job of the 11 stucco townhomes that the first contractor couldn’t\/wouldn’t complete. CertaPro saved us big time! And they did a far better job than the first contractor! We got 3 bids to paint the exterior of eleven (11) 5-story stucco townhomes… a large job. CertaPro’s bid was in the lower-middle of the price range and as a result was not initially awarded the contract (BIG mistake on our part). The board made the selection purely on price. The contractor selected did an extremely sloppy job, applied the paint in sweeping motions that left inconsistent coverage, strung out a 6-week job to over 4 months, and then broke the contract when it came to the most difficult phase of the project due to the lack of technical skills to maneuver an 80′ cherry-picker (boom), thus leaving us in a major lurch!<\/p>\n

We awarded CertaPro (Jeremy Rhett) the contract to finish the job and correct the mistakes (which numbered quite a few). Not only did CertaPro finish the job and correct the previous contractor’s mistakes, CertaPro did a far superior job and application of paint and was far more professional. The community and homeowners were extremely pleased with the results CertaPro delivered. As a result of the great work they did for us last year, CertaPro was awarded additional contracts.
