The scope of this project included a repainting of almost the entirety of the exterior. A limited number of excluded items included the front door, all downspouts, and a fence in the rear of the property. The home was first pressure-washed using a mildicide solution to remove all dirt and mildew for proper finish coat adhesion. Additional prep work was completed to include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Caulking was applied to all previously caulked gaps and cracks in order to seal out future moisture. For this, we used an elastomeric sealant.<\/li>\n<li>We replaced missing or loose putty\/glazing. Minor holes were filled with wood putty.<\/li>\n<li>All loose and peeling paint was scraped to ensure a firm base for the new paint.<\/li>\n<li>A light sanding was applied to areas where scraping occurred in order to promote adhesion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the top coat, Sherwin Williams&#8217; Resilience was used throughout the scope of the
