A good experience with\u00a0CertaPro Painters\u00ae of Atlanta\/Decatur in the past had kept us “top of mind” when new work was required.<\/p>\n

The residence, a split-level, ranch-style home built in the early 1960s, was due for a full exterior painting, a garage that had recently been built on the property was ready for its inaugural topcoat. The new wood construction – bare and unsealed – needed extensive surface preparation and priming before painting could begin.<\/p>\n

“The project was a bit unique in that it involved multiple skill sets,” says Miguel Gaytan, our Residential Sales Associate. “There was work that we treated as a traditional repaint, and other work that was treated as new construction. Each type required an individual job scope.”<\/p>\n

From soffits and wood siding to brickwork and wrought-iron railings, all areas in need of paint received a coating of Sherwin-Williams Resilience\u00ae with a sheen appropriate to the surface. Additionally, the crew applied two gloss coats of Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint\u00ae exterior acrylic latex to the home’s many shutters for a crisp curb appeal. Some light carpentry and sealing work here also required to address multiple gaps between the brick and wood portions of the new garage.<\/p>\n

Start to finish, the project lasted five days. When it was over, the client made a point to tell Gaytan that she has enjoyed the working relationship she has built with our crew over the past few years, and was impressed with the “personal attention” and “attention to detail” the crew demonstrated throughout this most recent project.<\/p>\n
