Not only a great story, but what a magical transformation this was!
For this project, a perspective client in an area just east of Atlanta, was vetting potential painting contractors to repaint her 115-year old home. During the initial search, the homeowner reached out to the local CertaPro Painters franchise in her area for a painting proposal. Concerned with the overall scope of the project, the local CertaPro office immediately recommended that contact CertaPro Painters of Atlanta due to their experience, not only with lead-based paint and the intricate EPA protocol that accompanied it, but also with work painting historical structures in general. An exterior project, this scope included the repainting of all previously painted surfaces, and excluded areas such as the brick foundation, rear porch concrete floors, and stained window sashes. When all prep work was complete, the home was primed with a Peel Bonding Primer to help seal the surface and bond the paint line. Premium quality Sherwin-Williams products were then used for the top coat.

For example, the windows and frames are very old and fragile, so I was extremely particular about how they were washed, treated, and painted.
