Recently our owners Bob and Teri Workman sat down with the Arvada Chamber of Commerce to chat about their business and the painting industry. CertaPro Painters\u00ae of Arvada got its start in 2009 and has since continued to flourish.<\/p>\n

What were some of the struggles of entering the painting industry?<\/h2>\n

\"kitchen\"Both Bob and Teri came from work backgrounds outside of the painting industry. Their biggest lesson was learning to navigate this change. According to Terri, one of their biggest hurdles was \u201cjust learning the business because neither one of us were painters. The franchise helped move things on a little bit faster. But we had to go out and talk to people and learn what they needed.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Bob, \u201cI learned that running a $38 million production facility is a lot different than running a $1 million painting company. In the corporate world, if you make mistakes, somebody else is writing the check. If you make a mistake, you\u2019re writing the check.\u201d<\/p>\n

What sets CertaPro Painters\u00ae of Arvada apart from other local companies?<\/h2>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s personal attention because as owners we are the ones that show up when the job is being done and if somebody has an issue, there\u2019s an owner showing up. I\u2019m the one taking the crew out there to make sure the job is done,\u201d said Bob. They take pride in keeping homes in the local community look their best through professional painting services<\/a>.<\/p>\n
