Drywall Repair and Painting Case Study

CertaPro Painters® of Andover was contacted in December 2020 to repair and paint some damaged walls in a home in Andover, MA. The damaged areas included a bar, walk-in closet and large closet.

The project included drywall repair, sanding, prime coat, 2x finish coats of paint plus cleanup. Matching the texture of the wall in one closet was a challenge. A sponge or flexible tool needs to be used to sculpt the wet compound, like an artist, to match the surrounding texture. The other two sections required a lot of sanding, which can be messy and take a lot of time. CP Andover used Festool to provide quick and professional results while keeping the dust and cleanup to a minimum.

Drywall Repair Process

Prior to the project starting, our estimator walked the property and took some photos of the condition of the areas for work. Our team then worked on prepping, patching, and painting for the flawless final product!
